Artisan glass

Cast and kiln formed glass techniques give a richness of texture and colour to a very British landscape. Cast glass; involves melting glass at high temperatures into a plaster mould over long periods. Eventually the glass is removed from the mould creating a unique one off piece.

Pear Shaped

This Pear is beautifully crafted out of solid glass using the lost wax method. Using this method of casting captures fine details in the glass. Each cast piece is embossed with a lace texture and a polished front, allowing the light to penetrate. Finished with a gold resin stalk, this is the largest of the collection at 28cm high.

A Nice Pear

The smallest of the collection at only 15cm in height, packs a punch of intense colour. Again, using the lost wax method, each piece is carefully cast in a plaster mould and fired for a couple of weeks. The mould is then broken to release the cast pear, this makes each one truly unique.
